This project is a new build bungalow on a large secluded site in Foxrock. The client wished to use the outline footprint of the existing bungalow but to build a completely contemporary home. The plan sits lengthways  into the existing landscape and opens into a series of heavily planted courtyards and vistas. The exterior is wrapped in shou sugi ban black timber cladding which contrasts against the green backdrop.
